LEGO Architecture Sets…Finally!
Apparently LEGO has been working in collaboration with Adam Reed Tucker of Brickstructures Inc. to develop its new LEGO Architecture line since July 2008. The series launched with the Sears Tower, John Hancock Center. and the Space Needle which all sell for a meagre $20. LEGO has recently announced a new Frank Lloyd Wright series with Falling Water and the Guggenheim Museum which will be available for $50 or so (plus shipping). This is a nice drop in price from the hefty Make & Create™ sets like the Eiffel Tower and Taj Mahal which sell for $200 and $400 respectively. It appears that many of the components are custom shapes and colors, so I am excited to see what cool things I can build by combining them with my old sets. It was slightly disappointing to see how small they are, but it looks like they maintained a respectable level of detail.
