Raleigh International Festival
The International Festival at the Raleigh Convention Center was totally worth the $3 admission! The event was a bit smaller than other International Festivals I have attended, but was well organized and far cleaner. My wife and I walked through the entire venue before deciding on what to eat. Naturally we started with Baklava!
Google Earth was prominently displayed on a giant, inflatable screen near the entrance to the festival. I really need a projector system like that, in my back yard, for Mario Kart! After sampling all sorts of tasty food, we checked out a few of the performances. The Japanese and Chinese drum performances rocked!
